Samsung launched the first smartphone of their new F series in India on Thursday, the Samsung Galaxy F41. It will go on sale from October 16, 2020. This smartphone is placed in the affordable segment and has features like 6000 mAh battery, 64 megapixel camera and a super AMOLED display.

According to Samsung, this is said to be one of the most stylish phones, taking your style game to a new level. It comes with a premium gradient design with a futuristic holographic effect that will surely impress the Samsung fans. The phone houses a Type-C port between the speaker grille and the 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, while the right part sports the volume rocker and power button.
The phone is light and weighs just 191g. It has a sleek 8.9mm design. The F41 is available in three colours right now, namely, Fusion Blue, Fusion Black and Fusion Green.
Samsung has carried the “Full On” tagline with the F41 and their display is “Full on lit”. The F41 has a 6’4 inch(16.21cms) Full HD+ super AMOLED Infinity-U Display which is one of its key features. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass screen protection with a water drop notch bezel-less display.
The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 Pixels and 405 ppi pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9. It also has a peak brightness of up to 420 nits. According to Samsung, the contrast ratio is 78960:1 and the phone has upto a 110% NTSC colour gamut.
One of the strongest features of the F41 is its camera. It has a triple camera setup with 64 MP + 8MP + 5MP back camera. The 5MP is the depth camera for live focus, 64MP is the main camera for clarity and detail and 8MP for the ultra wide view with a 123 degree field of view. The front camera is a single camera setup with a 32 MP camera.
The shooting modes include continuous shooting and high dynamic range (HDR) modes. The other features include Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. Image resolution in F41 is 9000 x 7000 pixels.
Battery and Performance
The Samsung phone has a 6000 mAh battery. It can last for upto 48 hrs of calling, upto 26 hrs video playback, 21 hrs of browsing and 119 hrs of streaming music. The 15W USB Type C Fast Charger takes you from 0-100% in just 160 mins.
F41 has a Samsung Exynos 9 Octa 9611 chipset and Octa core (2.3 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A73 +1.7 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor. A Mali-G72 MP3 graphic chip ensures a great gaming experience. F41 runs on Android 10 with One UI Core on top.
The Samsung Galaxy F41 is priced at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB + 6GB storage model in India. The phone will go on sale via Flipkart and Samsung online store on October 16. It will be a part of the Big Billion Days sale and will be available for Rs 15,499. The customers will also get 10 per cent on SBI bank credit and debit cards. The 6GB + 128GB variant of the phone will sell for Rs 17,999.
Samsung has provided a fingerprint sensor on the back, and the connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C. Further, you will get a 3.5mm audio jack and up to 128GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 512GB).
